The production of Atlas Copco’s latest XD 6000 series of heat of compression desiccant air dryers started officially at the Wuxi plant. This is a new leading-edge, energy-efficient, zero-gas dryer.

Wuxi, September 11, 2018. The XD 6000 compression heat regenerative dryer is a milestone for the Atlas Copco Wuxi production facility. The full range of XD dryers are designed and manufactured at the Wuxi plant. They set new standards for dryers in general and for their markets and for our customers.

Atlas Copco’s XD adsorption dryer use high quality adsorbents to dry the compressed air. Effective use of heat from the compression process regenerates the adsorbent, significantly reducing energy consumption and operating costs. Moreover, the XD is a true zero-gas consumption product without consuming any compressed air to cool it.
